I haven't had a chance to catch up on the site, so, I thought I would do so. The old familiar
"back to school" sale ads are abundant on the television, internet, newspapers and I even saw
an ad at a convenience store! With that in mind, I want to remind you we have Restonic bedding
for that "college bound" student and an array of desks to accommodate a students needs. It is the time
of year when kids are excited to enter the educational field and mom and dad are ready to re-decorate
their empty nest.
Please stop in and see us for all of your decorating needs. Enjoy the last
weeks of summer before the snow flies!

When I started in the retail business, reaching customers was always a challenge. I only had a few avenues to reach that potential customer. I can remember the first ad we took out in the local newspaper a progressive move for the times. I watch my grandchildren use mobile phones, I-pods, internet, to interact with people and products every day. The way people are consuming information has come a long way from black and white photos in a daily newspaper. Things are changing so rapidly, that a small company like mine has to adapt to stay on top of things. We have recently decided to put more energy into our website and online advertising.
Please look for online advertisements for our monthly specials and let us know what you think.
Here's to change! Don Winglemire
The 150th anniversary party has come and gone, but the memories will live on forever! I would like to extend my gratitude to all who attended. The event went off without a hitch and was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Even our ancestors made a special appearance!
A special thanks to Governor Granholm's office for the congratulatory letter, Bill Bullard Jr. for the Proclamation plaque, Nancy Cassis for a congratulatory plaque and President George Bush for the Presidential Congratulatory message and picture.
The Winglemire family would like to thank our extended family, friends, and loyal customers for your support for the past 150 years! We will be celebrating our sesquicentennial anniversary on 8-2-08 during the annual Tastes, Sights, and Sounds here in Holly, Mi.
